Pulpits are one of the first images that come to mind when thinking about church furniture. Pulpit is the most common name in contemporary language to describe the furniture stand designed to hold papers, books, and speaking materials; but depending on application and avenue they can also be called lecterns, Bibles rests, speaker stands, and podiums.
Pulpits and lecterns are not only beneficial for a minister, pastor, or speaker to rest their papers and materials on, but they also create a focal point for a room. Some pulpit designs are elaborate and ornate while others are simple and efficient. Historically, wood has been the most popular material in pulpit and lectern construction; however, other materials in modern churches and conference centers have gained popularity in pulpit construction such as glass, acrylic, and metal.
We carry a wide variety of wood pulpit and acrylic pulpit styles. All of our wood pulpits and wood church furniture is built by our professional craftsmen – locally, in-house, with quality and integrity in mind. This also allows us to build custom furniture and customize existing pieces as upgrade options for most of our furniture pieces.
